Will you perhaps catch a movie, read a book you’ve been saving, buy a carton of ice cream or a tub of chocolate pudding or hot & spicy tortilla chips, or take a walk in the park or even a stroll down the sidewalk, definitely stopping to smell the roses? I remember when the fabric store & the nursery (for plants & garden supplies) used to run special prices & coupons for Super Bowl Sunday, presumably for all the ladies who were not football fans & didn’t want to be slave for a day or run a masquerade with some game like pretending to care about the game.

What about you? Male or female? Fan or not? How well do you tolerate the sports announcers with their droll remarks & historical background info? Are you at home that day or out & about?

These are all appealing answers…The Who, moochin’ some booze, & YouTube. If you’re moochin’ booze, it might be good to take some cookies, spicy tortilla chips, juice, or something to be a more welcome guest.

I made a tasty drink from Kahlua & vodka & apricot mango juice on Christmas Eve & would certainly recommend that. This time, I’ll just bypass the whole thing, stay off the streets away from drunken drivers, & do something for the week ahead…make lentil veggie soup perhaps.

I would prefer a Criminal Minds or Law & Order Marathon, but then I would miss the commercials!
